Enlightened
When the why of it all becomes clearer you’ve got to say
“How could it be here and not see it before”
When you go through the time each day surer you’ll find you’re way
you’ve to thank him for the vision in store
When the pride that had held you down, kept you afraid and bound
you realize it’s only ego you lost
When you learn all you have to do-unto yourself be true
you find out not to’s really not worth the cost
When you look back at lost and won, sorrow and all the fun
come to believe it wasn’t just all a waste
There’s a sad situation there-why not to show you care
Take out the bad and put some good in it’s place
Now that you’ve spoke-just start a motion-
Just got to try and live it through every day
Now you’ve awoken-try some devotion-
To be enlightened is to finally see the way
Got to be all that I can be, there’s someone helping me
Got to believe I just can’t do it alone
Yes he gives me the strength I need, mind and my soul to feed
the only way I could have every have grown
So start a motion-now that you’ve spoken
Just got to try and live it through every day
